Previously known as PhpAdsNew and OpenAds, OpenX is an open source advertising application. OpenX allows users of servers installed with it to manage banners from different types of ad networks across as all websites. It allows banner rotation, banner capping, site based targeting, click limited campaigns, campaign prioritization, and performance review of campaigns.
Minimum Requirements to Install OpenX 2.8
- OpenX has only been tested on Apache web server with Linux environment. *Downtown Host offers Apache web server that runs on CentOS Linux.
- PHP 5.1.4 or higher. *Downtown Host offers PHP 5.2.9.
- MySQL 5.0 is recommended. *Downtown Host offers MySQL 5.0.81.
