MyBB is an open source forum application. MyBB features fulltext search capabilities, easy customization with templates and themes, conversion from other forum application using the merge system, forum statistics, extensibility via plugins and many other features related to members, posts, threads, moderators and administrators.
Minimum requirements to install MyBB 1.4.8
- PHP v4.3.11 with XML extension installed. *Downtown Host offers PHP 5.2.9 with XML extension installed.
- MySQL v4.0 or above. *Downtown Host offers MySQL 5.0.81.
Follow the installation guide.
Note: It's not mentioned in the installation guide but you need to manually setup the database for the MyBB forum. If not, you are likely to get stuck at the database configuration step.
